Albion Search Limited are partnering with an industry leading Interior Design & Fit Out Contractor who are looking to appoint a Design Manager to work out of their Leeds Office.
The client cover a number of sectors and have completed some really interesting, high end projects with more in the pipeline.
Ideal candidates should come from a fit-out/construction background, specifically with experience in contracting rather than practice. A genuine passion for design is a key requirement for this role.
Roles & Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the design process from concept through to completion, ensuring alignment with project goals and client expectations.
* Collaborate with architects and other stakeholders to develop and refine design solutions.
* Prepare and review design documentation, including drawings, specifications, and schedules.
* Oversee the selection of materials, finishes, and construction methods to ensure quality and compliance with regulations.
* Coordinate with project managers to integrate design considerations with project timelines and budgets.
* Identify and mitigate design-related risks and challenges, providing proactive solutions.
* Maintain effective communication with clients and other project team members to ensure project requirements are met.
* Monitor and review design progress, making adjustments as necessary to meet project milestones.
The client is looking for somebody with a true passion for design, as well as a bachelors degree in Interior Design or Architecture.
