Field Service Engineer based in the Eastleigh

Salary up to £37,150, 23 days + 8 Banks, Company Pension, Private Medical and Well-being program

Working Hours – Monday to Friday 40 Hours

Overtime Available – estimated up to £27,000 + Salary (Voluntary)

Then reach out! Kingston Barnes is now recruiting for an exciting position for Field Service Engineer for one of our clients working within the Eastleigh area.

The Company:

A company specialising in the hire, installation and maintenance of Diesel Generators. The company’s products apply to a variety of industries, and they have a solid customer base. They have steadily grown over the last few years and are now looking to take on a Field Service Engineer.

The Role:

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a range of generators within a variety of environments covering a patch of the South. The successful candidate will have good engineering knowledge across the mechanical engineering discipline and some electrical knowledge. It is vital the candidate has experience working on large Diesel Generators.

Requirements:

· Possess a relevant qualification in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering /Diesel Fitting /Plant i.e. City & Guilds, BTEC or equivalent OR to have previous experience and knowledge of generators or diesel engines. (Essential)

· Possess good fault-finding abilities and strong communication skills

· Previous experience of working in a Field Service environment advantageous

· Full Driving Licence (with towing categories preferred)

· Good customer awareness with the ability to respond to customers’ requirements effectively & efficiently

· Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team

· Holder of ECS/CSCS Card preferred
