Storeroom Operative
Salary: Up to £24,000 per annum
Hours of Work: 35 Hours per week, Monday – Friday 8.30am - 4.30pm
Location: Southbourne, Dorset
Our client is a rapidly growing distributor of affordable network accessories, serving both domestic and international customers.
As a Storeroom Operative, you will play a crucial role in supporting their efficient operations. Working alongside the sales administration team, you will ensure that orders are processed accurately and shipped on time. Your responsibilities will include managing stock levels, maintaining a clean and organised workspace, and providing excellent customer service.
Main Responsibilities:
* Prepare, code, and label orders according to company procedures.
* Package goods for safe and efficient shipping.
* Maintain accurate stock levels through regular checks and reporting.
* Liaise with management on stock discrepancies.
* Process inbound deliveries and report any issues.
* Ensure sufficient supplies for packaging and labelling.
* Monitor and track shipments.
* Escalate courier issues as needed.
* Collaborate with other departments.
* Produce reports as required.
Skills/Experience Required:
* Previous experience in a printing, warehouse, or factory environment
* Strong attention to detail
* Ability to follow operational procedures
* Commitment to accuracy
* Participation in meetings as required
* Adherence to company policies
* Punctuality and professionalism
* Excellent MS Office skills
* Ability to work independently
* Flexibility with working hours
* Knowledge of MS Office products, accounting systems, and QuickBooks is a plus
