Our client is one of the UK’s leading manufacturers. With a strong engineering foundation, they place a high emphasis on the efficiency of their production systems, and engineering plays a pivotal role in their operations.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage and lead the current maintenance team.

* Oversee the Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) scheme.

* Ensure compliance and management of Health and Safety systems.

* Drive process improvement through identification, proposal, and execution.

* Manage small-scale improvement projects, including justification, implementation, and post-appraisal.

* Oversee spare part stock and procurement.

What We Offer:

* Full-time role (40 hours per week)

* 22 days of paid annual leave, increasing by 1 day per year up to a maximum of 27 days, plus statutory holidays.

* Participation in a profit-sharing scheme (discretionary, based on company performance).

* Evaluate mechanical, electromechanical, and electrical systems for performance improvement.

* Stay updated with technical knowledge of engineering systems.

* Handle pressure and meet deadlines with good problem-solving and creative thinking skills.

* Show strong commercial awareness and product understanding
