Avanti Recruitment is currently working with an award-winning digital agency based in Newcastle, that is on the lookout for a Java Fullstack Developer to join their team on a permanent basis.

This role is an office-based position where you will be required on-site 5 days per week. You will be joining a team of around 40 and will be working with some of the most ambitious clients from around the UK and will be designing and building market-leading web, mobile, and bespoke digital applications for them.

You will be working collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplined team and will be the type of person who likes to take ownership of the delivery of projects. This role will be a fully hands-on position working across the full SDLC, you will be focused on the backend in Java but will have exposure to the front-end.

You’ll find yourself joining collaborative team, that get involved in tech talks, hack nights, internal workshops, and demonstrations. The company like to focus on career progression so should you wish to grow into a Senior then this could be the kind of role for you.

Essential Skills:

* Java (1 year commercial experience minimum)

* Front-end exposure (ideally Vue or Angular)

* MySQL

* Hibernate (or similar)

Desirable:

* Play Framework

* C#

* SASS / LESS
