Brook Street is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Administrative Officer to join the team at Teesside Combined Court. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is eager to contribute to the smooth operation of a busy court setting.
Role Overview: As an Administrative Officer, you will be an integral part of the court's administrative team, handling a variety of tasks to support daily operations. Your responsibilities will include:
Engaging with the public effectively and professionally
Opening and dispatching mail
Preparing and checking documents and files
Photocopying and filing
Data entry and record maintenance on our in-house computer system
Adapting to various general office duties as requested by line managementKey Requirements: We are looking for a candidate who:
Possesses fast and accurate data entry skills
Has strong IT skills, including proficiency in Word and Excel
Demonstrates excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage tasks effectively
Communicates clearly and professionally, delivering exceptional customer service
Holds 5 GCSEs, including Maths and English, or equivalent qualificationsWorking Hours and Pay:
Hours: Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week
Pay: £11.59 per hourContract Details: 6 month assignment until March 2025, possibility of extension but not guaranteed.
