CY Partners is recruiting for a Regulatory Affairs Specialist to join the expanding team of a long-established company who have specialised in developing & manufacturing coatings products for over 100 years. Based in Greater Manchester, this will be a part time position, taking responsibility for the regulatory affairs of their product range customers based across the UK & EU.
Working alongside an experienced technical team, this position can offer flexible / hybrid working across 2 – 3 days per week.
Key responsibilities:
Author and supply Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for new products.
Management of the SDS database.
Respond to client SDS requests and queries
Update and maintain regulatory compliance of products, ensuring compliance with UK / EU legislation. (CLP / REACh etc.)
Provide regulatory support to the technical team in relation to the development of new products.
Requirements:
A degree or similar qualification in Chemistry, or relevant field.
Proven chemical regulatory experience.
Good knowledge of relevant legislation – REACh, CLP, GHS.
Experience of authoring Safety Data Sheets (SDS)
Strong attention to detail
This position will require the full right to work within the UK – Sponsorship is not available for this position
