Job Title: Site Agent
Contractor: Leading UK Infrastructure and Engineering Organisation
Location: Devon
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 per annum
Hybrid Working: On-site

Client Overview - Site Agent:
Our client is a leading UK contractor delivering essential infrastructure projects across multiple sectors, including water, health, and transportation. They are seeking a Site Agent to manage Southwest Water framework projects from contract award through to completion. The role requires ensuring quality, safety, and environmental policies are followed while delivering successful financial outcomes.

Purpose of the Role - Site Agent:
The Site Agent will manage the day-to-day operations and delivery of water infrastructure projects, working closely with senior managers to ensure projects meet financial, quality, and safety standards. This role includes overseeing site staff, subcontractors, and reporting on progress and budget control.

Key Accountabilities - Site Agent:
Allocate resources and manage site staff, ensuring smooth project delivery.
Report on contract progress and budget control to senior management.
Ensure the implementation of safe systems of work and company safety policies.
Monitor and enforce quality assurance and environmental systems.
Provide line management and supervision for Sub Agents, General Foreman, and other site personnel.
Communicate effectively with all stakeholders regarding project progress. Competency Requirements - Site Agent:
Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management (essential).
Chartered status or approaching chartered status (desirable).
Proven experience managing challenging projects with major clients.
Experience advancing from engineering roles to Site Agent positions, demonstrating both theoretical and practical skills.
Site qualifications: CSCS card, SMSTS (5-day), First Aid at Work (4-day), National Water Hygiene card. Technical/Professional Expertise and Qualifications - Site Agent:
Strong technical knowledge of civil engineering and construction practices.
Proven ability to manage a range of infrastructure projects from inception to completion.
Effective leadership and communication skills, with experience managing site teams and stakeholders.
Familiarity with contract management, budget control, and quality assurance systems. What our client can offer in return - Site Agent:
