My West London client is recruiting 2 new and exciting procurement manager roles into their team. Reporting into the Head of Procurement, the role of Capital Projects & Procurement Manager will be responsible for managing the pipeline of upcoming capital projects with stakeholder groups, collaboratively pre-planning procurements to maximise effectiveness and building and managing excellent working relationships with stakeholders and act as their trusted procurement advisor.
You will undertake procurements for construction, IT, clinical equipment and other capital items, selecting the appropriate procurement route (FTS tender, non-FTS tender, framework mini-competition etc) for each. The procurement values will range from £50k to over £50m.
These are really exciting roles and to be successful you will need to be able to demonstrate the following experience:
Experience of running competitive procurements (tenders & mini-competitions) in the UK public sector
Understanding of the UK Public Procurement Rules
Experience of direct awarding contracts against frameworks
Experience of drafting contracts
Excellent communication skills
Ability to build relationships with stakeholders
These are permanent roles with circa 3 days a week in the office. Starting salary is £61,927
