The purpose of this position is to function as a Test Automation Analyst, working competently with the GTO Quality Assurance staff, primarily performing execution and maintenance of automated test scripts, documenting, and reporting results. The position will maintain existing automated test scripts, extending their usefulness and validity.

KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Execute simple (1 to 50 validation points) and moderate (51 to 199 validation points) automated test scripts when required to support GTO projects.
Update test scripts to correct previous failures, when appropriate.
Maintain test script to ensure usability and validity.

ACCOUNTABILITIES
Capture, review, and publish test results to the appropriate GTO Application Teams.
Report test failures to the appropriate GTO Application Teams and pursue test failures through resolution.
Identify and update test data, when required, for successful test script execution.
Collaborate with GTO Quality Assurance testing staff to ensure validity of test scripts and results.

Regulatory Responsibilities:
Adhere to the FCA's Conduct Rules, understanding that they set basic standards of good personal conduct.

Personal Specification
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Likely to have between 0 and 3 years' experience
Application development or other relevant experience
Automated or manual testing experience
Java and C# coding languages
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products

Experience Preferred
Experience with test automation and management tools, eg, Selenium Web Driver, WinApp Driver, Azure DevOps, Postman
Understanding of Object-oriented Programming, C#/VB.NET, Powershell, Visual Studio
Experience with coding UI testing, eg, Microsoft UI Automation
Understanding of web technologies: ASP.NET/MVC, REST Services, JSON
