Data Engineer
Data Engineer | 12 Month Contract | Outside IR35
Our client is looking onboard a senior Data Engineer to join them on a 12-month contract, operating outside IR35.
You will be working closely with the Reporting and Analytics department to help develop and maintain key dashboards, and as such will need to be able to interpret, integrate and present complex data analysis to stakeholders.
The role will be a hybrid position, with some working days (2-3) each week to be based on-site close by to Manchester. There may be limited flexibility on this as the contract proceeds.
The daily rate for this position will be between £500-550 per day, outside of IR35
Essential for the role:
- In-depth knowledge of data model design and advanced SQL, preferably in Snowflake or Oracle environment (PL/SQL).
- Data visualisation experience with Power BI.
- Experience from working in a regulated environment with proven ability of interpreting and integrating complex data sets and communicating them effectively.
- Knowledge and experience in Agile methodologies for solutions implementation and system development.
- Experience working in a global Matrix organisation
Desirable for the role:
- Experience in managing regulated systems (GxP) and the associated procedures and documentation.
- Understanding of the procedures, processes and standards governing the submission and exchange of electronic information (documents and data) with health authorities worldwide, including familiarity with regulatory data-driven initiatives such as EVMPD and IDMP.
- Experience in using artificial intelligence (eg ML, NLP) to enable analytics services and interpreting complex data sets.
- Advanced experience in Power BI DAX Scripting.
