MBNL is owned equally by EE and Three, two of the UK's most recognisable and innovative mobile operators. They are our shareholders, but to us they are also our customers. Continuing to manage, maintain and enhance the best network in the UK, and delivering programmes and projects to time, cost and quality in a customer centric way is the core of what we do.

The role holder will be responsible for managing the successful set up of NTQ end to end reporting in Site Tracker, training users and managing communications with suppliers and internal teams.

You will be the point of contact across Property & Legal to manage access issues and failures ensuring that tickets are raised and managed by Ericsson Hardy.

You will also be responsible for managing all NTQ high risk and dead sites, investigating alternative solutions, improvements and reducing acquisition lead times.

The role holder will take a proactive role in ensuring that MBNL's suppliers, internal teams and shareholders comply with acquisition processes standards and guidance. This will require the day-to-day management of escalations from internal teams, 3rd party suppliers and MBNL's Managed Services Provider.

What you can expect to be doing:

  • Manage the code acquisition processes across renewals and NTQ new site acquisition
  • Manage the setup of NTQ end to end reporting in Site Tracker for NTQ training and transferring knowledge from the successful set up of Site Tracker reporting under the Code Project.
  • Manage data integrity and exception reporting working closely with MBNL's Managed Services Provider, suppliers and internal teams
  • Manage the reduction of high-risk sites and dead sites, investigating alternative solutions, improvements and reducing acquisition lead times.
  • Manage the guidance, processes, data integrity and exception reporting for sites under an NTQ, the exit negotiations and site decommissioning.
  • Provide guidance, direction and leadership to suppliers to ensure continued occupation and/or extended or replacement site coverage for sites identified as "At Risk" (including sites under Landlord Notice to Quit and equipment moves) to minimise the impact and ensure no loss in coverage.
  • MBNL's strategy processes and procedures are developed and communicated.
  • Assist in writing and communicating changes in supplier contract scope of works
  • Manage 3rd party SLA performance and instigate any recovery plans.
  • Work with the MBNL Surveyors, lawyers and external Suppliers to categorise site risks and report on sites with a high risk of not achieving replacement site coverage within timescales
  • Ensure that suppliers maintain a database of "At Risk" sites, ensuring their risk level is appropriately recorded by considering all likely eventualities and that forecasting and actual data is accurate.
  • Seek opportunities for continuous improvements and update MBNL's processes, strategies and reporting as appropriate, having first engaged with all relevant parties, in order to support MBNL's internal teams and Suppliers and Shareholders.

What we are looking for:

  • Acquisition, Design and construction knowledge and experience within a mobile telecoms environment
  • Experience of Site Tracker
  • Have worked in an Operator, Managed Service Supplier or Small Works Contractor Environment
