Responsibilities:

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Systems Administrator to join our SITE III JIOC contract team. You will play a key role in maintaining and advancing a mission-critical suite of applications supporting Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) and intelligence operations. These systems are integral to intelligence analysts, operations, and collection managers across the Combatant Commands, ensuring our nation’s defense intelligence apparatus is robust, reliable, and always ready.

What You’ll Do

As a DevOps Systems Administrator, you’ll be instrumental in designing, developing, and managing CI/CD pipelines that keep critical systems running smoothly. You will troubleshoot, integrate, and optimize solutions that support ISR and joint intelligence operations across multiple agencies. Your work will have a direct impact on mission success.

Key Responsibilities:

CI/CD Pipeline Development: Create and optimize build and deployment pipelines, integrating tools and automating processes.

Scripting & Automation: Write and modify Jenkins-based groovy scripts, update CloudFormation scripts, and automate workflows for deployment and variance corrections.

Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot pipeline issues in AWS environments (Linux EC2, RDS, CloudFormation, ElasticSearch), debug integration problems, and resolve connectivity issues between API servers and databases.

Tool Integration: Integrate DevOps tools such as SonarQube, Fortify, Jenkins, Robot Framework/Selenium, and Artifactory into the pipeline.

Collaboration & Support: Partner with development teams to onboard new microservices, ensuring smooth deployment and troubleshooting as needed.

Monitoring & Maintenance: Monitor AWS services, develop monitoring scripts, and ensure the architecture remains resilient and secure.

What You’ll Bring

Strong experience in CI/CD pipeline development and troubleshooting, particularly in AWS environments.

Proficiency in writing scripts using Jenkins and CloudFormation.

A knack for debugging integration issues and resolving connectivity challenges.

Experience with DevOps tools like SonarQube, Fortify, Robot Framework/Selenium, and Artifactory.

Familiarity with automating installations of COTS products within a complex architecture.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 3 years with PhD

A Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of relevant experience. Additional 4 years experience may be considered in lieu of the degree requirement.

Experience with Linux Environments

Experience with scripting languages, such as Bash and Python

Strong problem solving, analytical, and technical troubleshooting skills

Experience with Git for Source Control

Understanding and willingness to work in a DevSecOps oriented environment with an Infrastructure as Code mindset

TS clearance adjudication and ability to obtain SCI and pass a poly

Desired

Active CompTIA Security+ CE Certification

Basic understanding of an Object-Oriented Programming Language, preferably Java or Python

Experience developing, deploying, monitoring, and troubleshooting Cloud-based software solutions

Experience integrating Jenkins and Docker for automated CI/CD pipelines

Basic understanding of Kubernetes or OpenShift Container Platform

Familiarity with IC Audit requirements and Splunk

Experience providing technical support to the system accreditation process
