At Commonwealth Dental Clinic, we strive to provide excellent extraction and denture services to the Medicaid and self-pay community . If you’re looking to make a change from general dentistry and a one year or many years experienced dental assistant, we’d love an opportunity to tell you more about the position . As a Dental Assistant, you’ll have monthly bonus potential, competitive pay, and full benefits plus a fun energetic atmosphere . There is no other dental practice quite like ours.
Responsibilities:
As a dental assistant, you play an important role in our office and perform limited clinical duties under the direction of a dentist. Clinical duties may include equipment preparation and sterilization, preparing patients for treatment, assisting the dentist during treatment, and providing patients with instructions for oral healthcare procedures. May perform administrative duties such as scheduling appointments, maintaining medical records, billing, and coding information for insurance purposes.
Qualifications:
Dental assistant certification where required.
X-ray certification.
Nitrous oxide certification preferred.
Maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA, BLS and infection control training as required by law.
Experience with relevant dental software.
High school diploma or equivalent.
