Requirements:
Passion around serving others!
Kentucky license as an Occupational Therapist or ability to obtain license.
1-2 years of experience as a Certified Hand Therapist.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
Analyzes comprehensive information from formal and informal assessment that is pertinent to the patient's care and management to determine a rehabilitation treatment diagnosis.
Performs diagnostic exam to evaluate/assess patient needs of the Upper extremities
Creates treatment plans in accordance with instructions and consent of referring physician
Evaluates patient treatment programs in coordination with the medical staff
Performs written re-evaluations in preparation for patients return for follow-up Physician appointments
Provides services that help improve mobility, relieve pain, and prevent or limit permanent physical disabilities of patients
Fabricates custom-made splints, and communicates with physician to ensure the patient receives the correct splint
