The position requires performing design tasks to support our consulting engineering office. Qualifications include…

• Associate degree in Engineering Technology, Architectural Design Technology, or Computer Aided Drafting.

• Five years or more experience as a Project Designer is preferred.

• Some water or wastewater experience preferred.

• Ability to work independently, as well as part of a collaborative team.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Computer skills in Word, Excel, and AutoCAD.

• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.

Duties and Responsibilities include …

• Assists and prepares in the development of probable construction cost estimates.

• Perform design work in AutoCAD and/or Civil3D.

• Reviews construction site to monitor progress and other duties per the contract documents, when requested.

• Assists in the preparation or modification of reports, specifications, plans, construction schedules, permits and designs for project.

• Responsible for initial quality control review of all documents.
