Responsibilities of a multi-skilled maintenance engineer:

Both reactive and planned maintenance on high-speed packing machinery.
Undertake machine start up routine and non-routine planned shutdown as required.
To undertake full diagnosis and implement corrective actions to minimise downtime.
To communicate machine status and performance across shift. Qualifications required to become a maintenance engineer:

Time served or Apprentice Trained Engineer.
NVQ/ City and Guilds Level 3 or greater either Mechanically or Electrically 17th/ 18th Edition
Experience within a Food or Fast paced Manufacturing Environment.
You will need to be a team player and have a passion for learning. Benefits of a maintenance engineer:

£45,000pa
Working two days on, two nights on, four off shift pattern (12 hour shifts)
Paid for training courses
Genuine career progression routes
Pension and 20 shifts holiday
