Quality Engineer

Location: Huddersfield

Rate: £400 per shift – PAYE / Umbrella

Contract Length: 6 months rolling

Role Responsibilities may include:

Develop, maintain and communicate quality policies, system and procedures
Monitor the effectiveness of quality procedures
Inspect quality on site
Own the Integrated Management System jointly with Group Health, Safety & Environmental Manager
Research quality developments and trends
Write daily diaries
Analyse relevant issues and their impact on the business
Determine how to modify procedures to meet future quality needs
Produce monthly reports to illustrate company and department performance
Assess and analyse the present budget requirements
Develop a plan for audits, inspections and assessments in line with company and legislative requirements
Prepare H&S Files
Required Experience:

Proven experieince in quality assurance within construction or civil engineering projects.
Strong understanding of quality management principles, tools and methodologies
Proficiency in relevant quality software and tools.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
