Are you an experienced Project Manager looking to lead critical water projects? Our client, a new joint venture between two industry-leading engineering contractors, is seeking a Project Manager to oversee projects within the Southern Water region. This role offers the opportunity to manage and deliver high-impact projects, ensuring they are executed to the highest standards, on time, and within budget.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage water infrastructure projects from inception to completion, ensuring successful delivery in line with client specifications.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, site managers, and external contractors, to coordinate all project activities.
Oversee project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation, ensuring projects stay on track and within budget.
Manage project risks, issues, and changes, ensuring any challenges are addressed proactively and effectively.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, client requirements, and safety regulations across all project phases.
Regularly communicate with stakeholders, providing project updates, progress reports, and maintaining strong client relationships.
Monitor project performance, ensuring that quality, safety, and environmental objectives are met.Requirements:
Proven experience as a Project Manager within the water sector or related infrastructure projects.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
Familiarity with water infrastructure projects and experience within the Southern Water region is highly desirable.
Relevant qualifications in engineering, construction, or project management (e.g., APM, PRINCE2, PMP).
