Harris Global are currently recruiting for a Document controller to join a Construction client on a permanent basis in their Canary Wharf office.

Job Description

* The Document Controller will liaise between site teams and will be responsible for accurate management of documentation generated by the project team, contractors and suppliers, to enable all relevant parties to quickly retrieve information.

* Ensuring emails/ correspondence & files relating to projects are uploaded and stored correctly

* Setting up new projects ensuring all details and contacts are up to date

* Ensure all templates used with the department conform to the company standard

* Carry out QA checks on all published information/documentation in accordance with project document control procedure

* Booking inductions

* Upload documents

* Ad hoc duties as required to assist the project team

Required Skills and Experience

* Experienced Administrator with exceptional organisational skills

* Self‐directed and highly motivated

* Able to work in a deadline‐driven environment

* Detail‐oriented, dependable and trustworthy

* Strong communication skills

* Excellent interpersonal skills and a professional telephone manner

* Ability to evaluate, prioritise and organise work schedules

* Proven decision‐making skills

* Able to react quickly and effectively when dealing with challenging situations
