Previous transport or gatehouse experience beneficial but no essential

As a Gatehouse Clerk, you will

Booking trailers in and out
Performing security searches of colleagues on exit of site.
Creating and updating Vehicle Load Plans.
Basic pick management (informing loading team of outstanding tasks for scheduled trailer departure)
Checking all containers are scanned to VLPs/Loads and communicating any discrepancies to loading team/Management.
Microsoft office proficiency- email, updating spreadsheets.
Communication with Primary Transport regarding trailer requirements.
General administration tasks.
Any other additional ad-hoc tasks as requested by management.
Potential for further training on work release.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Right mindset and eye for detail.
