As a Project Manager in Engineering, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of projects including: appraisal, planning, detailed design, construction and delivery phases. A background in Systems Engineering is highly desirable as the work will require a good understanding of the transport engineering sector.

Position Location: Manchester UK

Responsibilities:

• Stakeholder management to clarify requirements and agree project objectives and priorities.
• Active Project Risk Management - taking responsibility, in cooperation with Risk team, for the identification, allocation and management of the project risk and opportunities.
• Accountability and responsibility for the commercial objectives specific to the project - delivering necessary reporting & information.
• Communication is vital for success - with the client and wider programme team.

Key Skills/Experience

• Engineering degree or project management subject
• APM or Prince 2
• Full Membership, or working towards full membership of a relevant chartered body in Transport
• Project management experience across a range of disciplines, contract/procurement
• Experience of managing projects within the Transport sector
