ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Coordinate departmental duties in the absence of the Supervisor, Building and Property Maintenance.

Monitor, order, and properly store all supplies and materials required to perform or oversee the execution of regularly scheduled preventative maintenance needs according to the manufacturer's recommendations.

Monitor, order, and oversee proper storage of all kitchen, restroom, and copier area supplies to ensure availability at all times.

Perform and oversee daily visual routine inspections by verifying cleanliness, and adequate heating/cooling, ensuring there are no tripping hazards, and that all electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems are operating properly.

Perform and oversee daily visual routine inspections for all exterior areas to confirm each structure is without apparent maintenance needs.

Perform troubleshooting techniques to establish whether repair, replacement, or adjustments are needed to restore functionality and safe conditions.

Review and respond to emails promptly by providing accurate answers and effective solutions to meet or exceed your internal customers' expectations.

Maintain a reliable working relationship with each Facilities Maintenance Technician and perform assigned projects effectively and efficiently while adhering to all OSHA, VOSHA, County, EPA, policies and procedures to ensure safety and compliance.

Establish and execute a process to keep all work and storage areas clean and organized with all items stored according to Fire Marshall standards and regulations.
