Primary Higher Level Teaching Assistant

NextGen Teachers are proud to be recruiting on behalf of a Primary school in Bradford who are looking for a Primary Higher Level Teaching Assistant to start as soon as possible on a part time basis, with the potential to go to full time.

Primary Higher Level Teaching Assistant roles and Responsibilities:

Implement engaging and effective lessons for the children that are aligned with the UK National Curriculum.
Confidently follow lesson planning and deliver lessons to classes across both KS1 and KS2.
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment by managing behaviour, promoting respect, ensuring the safety of all students and differentiating the deliverance of the learning.
Evaluate pupil progress through various assessments and provide constructive feedback to support their learning journey, both to the pupil, other staff and have good clear and concise communication with parents/carers.Primary Higher Level Teaching Assistant Non-Negotiables:

Must have recent and relevant teaching or teaching assistant experience in Education in the UK.
Experience working with children in an Educational setting.
Must hold a HLTA Qualification, or equivalent, valid for supporting children's learning in the UK.
Strong subject knowledge of the UK Primary National Curriculum.
Must have a valid DBS or be prepared to apply for a new and updated one.
