Our client is looking for a technical data management analyst to work with their end client which is in the financial sector. Based in London around 3 days a week onsite.

The experience they are looking for:

• A good understanding of data management concepts, such as data dictionaries, glossaries etc.
• Hands-on experience with a data catalogue, such as Alation, Collibra or similar.
• Prior experience with data lineage visualisations and/or implementing data quality rules.
• Solid understanding of relational; and metadata models.
• Familiar with data quality tooling.

The skills required for this role:

• Competent in SQL
• Some Scripting skills (eg python) are a bonus
• Exposure to data platforms such as Snowflake, Data Bricks, redshift or s3 (cloud)
• Good level of communication
• Able to adapt to different environments
