Job Description: Prefabricated Cabinet Assembly Person
Position Overview:
We are a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Prefabricated Cabinet Assembly Person. In this role, you will be responsible for the assembly of high-end luxury cabinetry, for both kitchen and bathroom applications. The ideal candidate will also be responsible for customer service throughout the store as directed by the management team
Key Responsibilities:
Bi-Lingual Preferred but not required
If Spanish is their primary language, they must be able to be fluent in conversational English
Assemble prefabricated cabinets according to specifications, including reading blueprints, assembly instructions, and using precise measurements.
Accurately read and use a tape measure for cutting, fitting, and aligning cabinet components.
Inspect and verify the quality and accuracy of components before and after assembly.
Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently during the assembly process.
Ensure that all cabinets meet company quality standards and are ready for shipping or installation.
Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure a safe working environment.
Collaborate with other team members to ensure production goals and deadlines are met.
Identify and troubleshoot issues during the assembly process and report them to supervisors.
Follow all safety guidelines and protocols while on the job.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in cabinet assembly, carpentry, or a related field is preferred but not required.
Ability to accurately read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, assembly instructions, and tape measures.
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.
Strong attention to detail and quality control.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication skills and ability to follow directions.
Physical ability to lift, carry, and maneuver materials and cabinets as required (up to 50 lbs.).
Job Type: Full-time
Location: NW Houston
Salary: $15/hr.
Schedule: Hours: 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM (with 30 minutes for lunch; lunch time is subject to change)
Saturdays: Mandatory, along with an employee meeting at 8:30am and expected to work until 5:00pm with 30 minutes for lunch) Missing Saturdays is NEVER acceptable
