Our client, a leading manufacturing company, is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Maintenance Supervisor/Manager to oversee the maintenance operations of their Chicago facility. This is an onsite position requiring strong leadership and technical expertise.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance strategy aligned with production goals and operational efficiency.
Oversee the hiring, training, and development of a high-performing maintenance team.
Manage maintenance budgets, schedules, and resources effectively.
Implement preventive maintenance programs to optimize equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
Respond to equipment breakdowns and coordinate repairs in a timely manner.
Collaborate with production teams to identify and address maintenance-related issues.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry best practices.
Analyze maintenance data to identify trends, improve performance, and reduce costs.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field is strongly preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of maintenance leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
Proven ability to manage and develop maintenance teams.
Strong technical knowledge of industrial equipment and maintenance practices.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
