Overview:
The Manager, Trade will help manage day-to-day operations of the Trade Function that includes but not limited to the 3PL, Wholesalers, Retail Pharmacies and Specialty Pharmacies.
This position will require superior communication, detail orientation and thoroughness inmanagement of all the patient services programs for marketed SK Life Science products
The Manager will work closely with the SKLSI internal team on inquiries supporting the vendors and additionally build relationships and communicate frequently with vendors.
The top deliverables for this position are building a partnership with the vendors, managing day to day operations for all Trade and completing reporting related to
Responsibilities:
Support day-to-day operations of vendors supporting all Trade 3PL Vendor, including but not limited to orders, chargebacks, returns, etc.
Monitor inventory at each wholesaler daily and communicate with wholesaler buyers to request additional purchases when inventory levels are not adequate
Build strong relationship with primary points of contact at 3PL Vendor and with buyers at the wholesalers
Analyze and report Trade information throughout the organization
Communicate with SKLSI Sales team to answer inquiries on Retail pharmacy stocking issues
Collaborate daily with Trade vendors on day-to-day operations or specific questions
Review data to ensure no inaccuracies are found
Partner with internal SKLSI groups, including Finance, Quality, Commercial Operations, IT, etc.
Help support Returns processing, reporting and communicate effectively throughout the organization
Ability to travel within to visit vendors, attend conferences and SK meetings
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required
Minimum of 4-8 years of pharma experience in Trade or equivalent vendor partner
Strong Trade background preferred (specifically working with 3PLs, wholesalers, Specialty Pharmacies and Retail Pharmacies)
Strong ability to work cross functionally across finance, IT, sales, marketing, market access, patient services, commercial operations, and senior leadership teams
Highly detail oriented and thorough in follow-up
Provide appropriate access and call center support/education for sales/sales management teams and wholesalers and pharmacies
Demonstrated initiative, creativity and strategic relationship building skills
Strong analytical and reporting skills; monitor patient access and support services metrics
Assist with data integration between vendors and internal SKLSI teams
Provide competitive intelligence regarding marketplace access programs and services
Prioritize a demanding workload, work cross-functionally, and evaluate enhanced services to meet current and future needs
Responsible for being the day-to-day contact for Trade vendors
Function as a subject matter expert on trade roles including; outsourced 3PL, wholesalers, retail and specialty pharmacies
Work directly with external partner(s) to ensure product is delivered appropriately to get to patients
Provide appropriate access and call center support/education for sales/sales management teams and providers.
Assist in creation and approval of internal and external written and verbal communications, materials and training
Strong project management, analytical thinking skills, and financial modeling skills
Demonstrated ability to develop, communicate, and implement successful strategic initiatives for multiple constituents with conflicting/competing objectives and goals
Ability to effectively compete for resources both with internal and external customers
Proven leadership skills and strong business acumen
Indicate any physical or mental demands that must be met to successfully perform the principal responsibilities of the position (e.g., routinely lift 25 pounds, sitting or standing for long periods of time.)
25% travel required
