Responsibilities:

Peraton is seeking a Jr. Configuration Data Managment Analyst with an Active Secret Clearance. Work will be 100% onsite in the King George/Dahlgren area supporting our Department of Defense (DoD) customer. No remote work or hybrid schedule. 

As part of a highly talented, motivated and high performing team, you will support an exciting program which involves Configuration Management (CM), support systems and processes to support operational readiness. You would be responsible for providing Configuration/Change Control Boards (CCB) support including importing and exporting files. You will also be responsible for assisting in the development and maintenance of CM processes, policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) based on program requirements. Develop database structures, forms, reports, and predefined queries for various gov't databases. Provide CM support for scheduling and coordinating meetings and events, prepare minutes, action item lists, and attendance lists. What you will do:

Generate database reports such as meeting agendas and minutes, and tracking action items and change requests

Update and maintain database records and CCB Operating Procedures

Capture detailed technical comments while displaying to a live and web-based audience

QA of meeting documentation which includes punctuation, proper spelling, verifying database has been up properly, and all requirments complete

Generate various status accounting reports, perform data audits, and other CM duties  

Generate/update briefs/presentations and attend meetings as required

Ensure electronic deliveries of files and documentation occur

Perform Quality Assurance tasks of configuration data to ensure accuracy

Assist in the development and maintenance of CM processes and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) based on program requirements

Perform Quality Assurance tasks of configuration data to ensure accuracy

Responsible for completing uploads using ACCESS system, as well as status updates for data

Act as a Data Transfer Agent to move data from Unclassified to Classified environments. Run reports using OBIEE software

Any other assigned tasks

Qualifications:

What you'll need:

Education: 0 years with BS/BA; 4 years no degree

Must have an Active Secret Clearance

Must have working knowledge of Configuration Managment principles, methods, and techniques

Proficient with Microsoft Office tools, primarily MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint, and SharePoint

Ability to effectively communicate both orally and written across all organizational levels to include peers, managers and government customers is a must

Ability to multi-task, work well independently as well as in a team in a fast paced environment

Dependable, self-starter with strong technical skills and attention to detail with an emphasis on accuracy is a must

Must have excellent organizational, task tracking, and follow up skills is a must

Ability to demonstrate and behave in a professional manner at all times

Preferred Experience:

Experience related to Aegis, weapons systems and/or Navy programs

Advanced Configuration Control Engineering Status System (ACCESS) experience

Experience with creating/manipulating Ad hoc reports and proficient in understanding Software Baselines

Previous experience in a classified work environment

Proven knowledge of formal change control processes: Class I changes, Class II changes, CCB experience/involvement
