Responsibilities:

Peraton is hiring a Systems Administrator to join our Cyber Mission business unit in Jessup, MD. As a Systems Administrator on our team, you will support one of the largest enterprise-wide engineering contracts within the Intelligence Community. This is a full-time position requiring 1880 hours of support per year; and work is performed at a customer location. As a Systems Administrator on our team, you will provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of Information technology (IT) systems as well as establishing and maintaining user accounts within established policies required by the customer.

Qualifications:

Individual Capabilities/Experience Required:

Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university and five (5) years’ experience as a SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required. Five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.   

DoD 8570 compliance with Information Assurance Management (IAM) Level I or higher is required. 

Additional Domain Experience:    Computer Network Operations - Must have at least one (1) year of demonstrated experience in Modern operating systems and network architectures.  

Information Assurance - Must have at least one (1) year of demonstrated experience in certification and accreditation. Architecture development and design. Risk Assessments. IA Metrics gathering.  

Experience configuring and managing LINUX, UNIX, and Windows operating systems and installing/loading operating systems software, and troubleshooting.

Experience with Splunk software.

Position requires TS/SCI clearance with polygraph. 

Individual Capabilities/Experience Desired:

Strong oral and written communication skills.

Target Salary Range:

$104,000 - $166,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
