Overview:

Why We Need Your Talents:

Responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing used for water distribution and wastewater disposal in our facilities.

Compensation: $35.00/hr

Responsibilities:

Where You'll Make an Impact:

Install and maintain plumbing systems.

Read blueprints and drawings to determine exact specifications and where the plumbing system will be installed.

Ensure legislation and policies are met and that systems are up to code.

Ensure systems meet all standards of building codes and safety.

Select all materials needed for installation, including type and size of pipe.

Assemble and install valves and fittings.

Assemble pipe sections, tubing, and fittings, using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, plastic solvent, caulking, or soldering, brazing, and welding equipment.

Install other plumbing equipment, such as sinks, tubs, toilets, water heaters, air conditioners, appliances, and trim.

Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipe to the required angle.

Perform routine maintenance of plumbing systems.

Work with our Expeditor to obtain permits for plumbing work to be performed.

Adhere to current rules and regulations related to plumbing to ensure systems pass inspection the first time.

Skills to Help You Succeed:

Mechanical skills - In-depth knowledge of maintenance and repairs of plumbing systems. Adept at using various machinery and tools.

Physical skills – flexibility, good vision, physical strength, and fine motor skills.

Administrative skills - basic computer programs, such as word processing and spreadsheet programs, plus any company-specific programs or software

Problem-solving.

Able to work both independently and as part of a team.

Excellent interpersonal and professional communication skills on a technical level.

Qualifications:

Must-Haves:

Five (5) plus years technical and trade experience

Must be back flow certified

Must be able to operate water jet machine 

Current plumbing license

Must be able to comply with all state gaming regulations, which may include obtaining a license.

Physical Requirements:

Casino is over 100,000 square feet and requires the ability and energy to move about it with a true sense of urgency.

Physical dexterity in limbs and digits to operate hand and power-driven tools and equipment commonly used in the plumbing field.

Physical ability to lift, carry, push, and/or pull up to 50 pounds on a regular basis, and occasionally up to 100 pounds

Frequent standing and walking.

Ability to climb stairs.
