The Sr. Financial Analyst, IT role is a key member of the Finance organization, providing insights that drive informed decision-making and deliver measurable outcomes in partnership with the IT organization. With a deep understanding of benefits and expenses, the analyst will prepare financial projections for stakeholders, conduct value-added analysis and proactively report on results. Responsibilities:

As our Sr. Financial Analyst, IT you will:

Be a leader of financial performance for the IT organization

Deliver financial results with a deep understanding of expenses, regular monitoring, analysis

Ensure that technology leaders have the tools and information they need to make informed decisions

Manage trends, anticipating and preparing for changes

Collaborate with leaders across the organization to develop and deliver timely and actionable reporting or analysis  

Develop ROI analysis for investments and projects and track progress against them

Lead preparation and monitoring of the annual budgeting process and regular reforecasts in partnership with the IT organization

Manage capital planning and tracking

Develop real-time dashboards and scheduled reports, leveraging tools and data to maximize efficiency

Collaborate in monthly actual to budget reconciliations, narratives, and other month-end reports

Participate in maintenance of corporate forecasting models

Prepare analyses and ad-hoc reports as requested

Qualifications:

Requirements:

At least 6 years experience in financial planning, reporting, and data analysis

Some experience or exposure preferred in modeling costs for technical services. Example include:

Public cloud, like AWS, Azure, or GCP

Volume-driven licensing, such as Adobe Creative Cloud or Microsoft enterprise agreements

Hardware/software capitalization, depreciation, maintenance, and support, such as enterprise networking, servers, or storage

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field

Excellent problem-solving skills.

Disciplined attention to detail.

Curious.

Results Focus: Self-starter with the ability to work independently and with a team.

Strong quantitative skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Proficiency with MS Office suite of applications with strong Excel skills

Experience with G/L databases

Experience with or willingness to learn database querying tools
