Job Summary Statement:

Find and recruit the most qualified candidates for the open positions in the most efficient way possible.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Direct sourcing of candidates using job boards, networking and other recruitment tools.

Builds applicant sources by researching and contacting local community services, media, and internet sites; providing organization information, opportunities and benefits; making presentations; maintaining rapport and placing job advertisements.

Determines applicant requirements by studying job description and job qualifications.

Determines applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants; analyzing responses; verifying references; comparing qualifications to job requirements.

Arranges interviews by coordinating schedules; and escorting applicant to interviews; arranging plant tours.

Evaluates applicants by discussing job requirements and applicant qualifications with managers; interviewing applicants on consistent set of qualifications.

Creates offer letters that include job, pay, relocation if appropriate and other relevant information.

Understand employment regulations and EEO/AAP requirements.

Understand current legislation; enforcing regulations with managers; recommending new procedures; conducting training.

Ability to remain organized, pay strict attention to detail, and meet critical deadlines within a high volume, fast-paced environment.

Analytical with strong problem-solving abilities and creative resolution skills.

Ability to work well independently, as well as effectively contribute to a team environment.

Proficient use of Microsoft Office programs, including Word and Excel.

Responsible for making a high volume of calls daily.

Onboarding new hires including completing all new hire paperwork.

Maintain accurate data in applicant tracking system (iCIMS) on all candidates and positions recruited.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in Human Resources or experience in lieu of education.

Experience: 1+ years of direct sourcing experience using job boards, networking and other recruitment tools.

English language skills: Able to read, write, speak and comprehend English.

Spanish language skills: Able to read, write, speak and comprehend Spanish.

Math skills: Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide.

Physical Demands: Office and warehouse environment; able to move around the plant/manufacturing environment, walk long distances, and climb stairs.

Computer skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.

Knows EEO/AAP and immigration policies, procedures and related government employment laws.

High energy individual with a positive self-starter personality. This person must have the confidence and assertiveness to prioritize and handle multiple projects.

Preferred Qualifications:

Manufacturing and distribution recruitment experience a plus.

Mass hiring experience a plus.

Key Competencies:

Recruiting, Sourcing, Interviewing and Selection Skills.

Experience with direct sourcing of candidates through job boards and networking.
