Overview:
Credence Management Solutions, LLC (Credence) is seeking a Senior Logistics Manage for our Small Arms Program at Robins AFB, GA. The USAF Small Arms Program Office (SAPO) manages and sustains all pistols, machine guns, shotguns, rifles, carbines, grenade launchers, ceremonial weapons and mortars used by individual members of the USAF. This office has responsibility for light weapons such as squad and sniper rifles and machine guns.
The Logistics Manager shall apply the knowledge and experience to provide acquisition logistics support associated with armament systems and associated support equipment. The Logistics Manager shall have the knowledge and experience to develop life cycle logistics support activities and apply knowledge and experience in annual resource allocation forecasting processes wherein assessments are gathered and recorded. The Contractor shall be familiar with OCONUS travel preparation and policies and have the capability and willingness to travel overseas to potentially hazardous locations.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the duties listed below:
The Logistics Manager shall provide programmatic support to:
Plan, evaluate and implement program acquisition strategies.
Develop and manage program schedules and program plans.
Coordinate with customer across multiple services and commands.
Provide knowledge and experience in funding, forecasting, programming, and budgeting using new and existing databases and software; maintaining cognizance of the status of approved, deferred and released funds.
Provide knowledge and experience in performing various cost estimating activities in support of all program phases including, but not limited to, most probable cost estimates; cost analyses concurrent to the acquisition process; economic analyses; and probabilistic cost, schedule, and programmatic risk assessments.
Education, Requirements and Qualifications:
Minimum of a Secret Security clearance is required.
One of the following Education/Experience criteria must be met:Advanced Degree (MA/MS) and 12 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, 5 years of which must be in the DoD
BA/BS degree, and 15 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, 5 of which must be in the DoD
20 years of directly related experience with proper certifications, 8 of which must be in the DoD.
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:
Job may require the employee to be:
Willingness to travel if required.
In a stationary position 50% of the time
Able to ascend/descend stairs as required
Able to move equipment not to exceed 25 lbs as needed
