Responsibilities:

Revolution is now hiring for an 12 hour, NIGHT Shift Supervisor in the Extrusion Department of our Kilgore, TX facility. The successful candidate will be capable of working within a team environment and be individually motivated to accomplish goals and objectives.

Follow all Environmental Health & Safety policies and procedures.

Analyze production schedules to estimate worker hours and create machining schedules that meet both internal and external customer needs.

Review production schedules to ascertain product data such as types, quantities, and specifications of products and scheduled delivery dates to plan department operations and establish priorities and sequences for manufacturing the products.

Oversees and coordinates manufacturing activities to ensure production and quality of products meet specifications.

Interfaces with others in the organization to ensure customer deadlines are met.

Reviews production and operating reports and resolves operational, manufacturing, and maintenance problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delays.

Inspects machines and equipment to ensure specific operational performance, safety, and optimum utilization.

Develops and/or revises operational practices and observes workers to ensure compliance with standards.

Compiles, stores, and retrieves production data.

Conduct training for new hires.

Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOP’s), workflows, and processes, and identify opportunities for improvement.

Monitor and review the performance of staff and organize necessary interventions for improvement.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED required. Prefer a Technical, Associates’ or Bachelors’ Degree in related field.

3 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment (prefer converting exp.).

Plastic Extrusion knowledge experience is a plus.

Understanding of manufacturing processes and working knowledge of plant equipment and safety.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem solving, and organizational skills.

Strong work ethic and employment history.

A self-motivated individual that can multi-task and lead others.
