Responsibilities:

What You'll Do:

You will work on electrical controls and facilities related infrastructure projects for the Electrical Carbon Group located in Fostoria, Ohio.  This position reports to our Project Engineering Manager who leads a team that provides local support and executes capital and major maintenance projects.

Collaborate with our dedicated team of operations personnel, engineers, and other stakeholders to drive existing and new engineering projects to fruition.

Lead projects from design to implementation, focusing on both medium and low voltage distribution systems and electrical control systems.

Apply your electrical engineering acumen to solve complex problems, ensuring all projects adhere to the highest industry standards.

Develop comprehensive project budgets, meticulously estimating labor, materials, and equipment needs.

Engage in hands-on project management, ensuring all tasks meet our stringent criteria for safety, quality, and efficiency.

Provide essential on-site support, tackling equipment and facility-related challenges head-on.

Enhance our technical capabilities by supervising and training personnel, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

Qualifications:

What You'll Bring:

A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.

5-10 years of relevant experience, with a strong background in VFD, HMI, and PLC control systems.

Demonstrated project management prowess.

Proficiency in AutoCad and a solid understanding of NFPA Electrical Standards.

Familiarity with quality management systems such as ISO 9001/AS 9100, alongside a keen interest in Kaizen and Lean Manufacturing techniques.

Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
