Due to substantial growth, we are hiring for our 12-hour shifts (2/2/3) and we want you!

We have multiple opportunities at our advanced manufacturing facility in Fostoria, Ohio for Maintenance Repair Electricians...if you have your Journeyman card and/or a minimum of 6 years' experience within the industrial electrical maintenance field, then we want you to apply!

We pay well...you will come in at the top rate of $35.08 per hour.  

We operate a continuous operation (24/7) and have various shift opportunities.  Shift differentials are available for off-shifts. Morgan believes in Work/Life Balance and has a no forced overtime for our hourly associates! 

You will help maintain equipment and processes for a manufacturer of a wide variety of products which support critical industries such as Space, Defense, Power Generation, and more!

Responsibilities:

Job Purpose:  Maintain all electrical devices and machines within the plant and ensure proper running conditions including all safety devices are in proper working order; utilize skills to troubleshoot and repair all equipment including:

Follow all Morgan safety standards and guide lines.

Follow all NFPA and National Electrical codes.

Utilize all Arc Flash gear when called upon. 

Essential Functions:

Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Ability to stand or kneel for extended periods of time

Ability to reach above head level when working on elevated equipment

Ability to ascend and descend ladder or stairs

Ability to push and pull equipment into proper placement

Ability to work in extreme or hot, cold environments

Evaluates opportunities to improve equipment and reduce downtime

Provide technical support for all electrical process equiopment

Perform moderate to complex installation, troubleshoot and repairs.

Diagnose and repair equipment and components such as mortors, drives, relays, starters and other related electrical devices used for industrial equipment.

Insure that no safety devices are by-passed or eliminated without proper authorization.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision but also with others in a team environment.

Perform routine preventative maintenance (PM) on all equipment.

Perform tasks as directed by plant supervisor.

Qualifications:

Qualifications:

Must have documented proof of 6 years (minimal) experience in the industrial electrical field or a journeyman's card.

The ability to work with other trades to accomplish a positive outcome.

Must be a US Person as defined by 22CFR120.15.

Skill and Abilities:  To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requiements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Strong industrial electrical background

PLC experience a plus

Strong organizational skills inculding attention to detail and multi-tasking.

Excellent verbal and written communcation skills.

All other duties assigned by management.

Having access to CUI (controlled unclassified information)
