Overview:

Reporting to the VP of Ops and Strategy, the Senior Analyst for Operations and Strategy will be integral in driving data-driven decision-making and operational excellence within the company. This role is designed for an individual who excels in business analysis, financial modeling, and providing actionable insights. The Senior Analyst will be responsible for tackling discrete business problems, performing rigorous analysis, and delivering results that inform strategic decisions. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, quickly understanding new challenges, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and synthesizing data to recommend strategic actions.  The salary range for this position is $120,000 to $140,000, plus an annual bonus.

Responsibilities:

Data Analysis & Financial Modeling:Perform detailed data analysis and financial modeling to solve business problems.

Utilize advanced Excel skills to deliver insights and recommendations that drive strategic decisions.

Problem Solving & Strategic ContributionOwn and execute analyses that contribute to broader projects.

Take responsibility for specific outcomes while supporting larger initiatives, ensuring that findings lead to actionable recommendations for the strategic direction of projects.

Insight Generation & RecommendationsQuickly set up and run analyses, delivering 80/20 solutions that provide actionable insights.

Present findings and recommend actions that guide the strategic direction and decision-making of the organization.

Collaboration & Stakeholder EngagementWork closely with cross-functional teams to understand business challenges, gather data, and communicate insights.

Ensure alignment and understanding of project goals, contributing to the strategic success of initiatives.

Partner with strategy leadership, business leaders, and other key stakeholders to formulate and advance ongoing strategic initiatives.

Project InvolvementContribute to larger project in which the Senior Analyst will need to ensure alignment with project objectives, stakeholders and timelines.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in: Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, Economics, Finance, or a related field preferred.

2-4 years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, financial services, or a similar analytical role.

Experience with analytical tools (e.g., Python, Alteryx) or databases (e.g., Snowflake, SQL) is a plus

Strong proficiency in Excel; proficiency in advanced analytical tools and database technologies is a plus.

Ability to quickly grasp new problems, generate actionable insights, and contribute to strategic decision-making.

Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams.

Strong analytical mindset with the capability to synthesize complex data into clear, concise recommendations.

High level of initiative and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Maintains a sense of urgency, commitment, and accountability, making sound decisions to achieve goals.

Demonstrated ability to manage deliverables as part of large projects / objectives.

Upholds a strong work ethic and takes pride in contributing to a team-oriented, results-driven organization.

Navigates entrepreneurial environments and ambiguity effectively, adapting well to change and varied situations.

Possess unquestionable integrity, ethical and moral character.
