About the Team:

VIZIO is seeking an Office Manager/HR Coordinator to join our Dallas office team. VIZIO’s success depends on our people, productivity, process, and procedures.  An office manager is the supportive force driving each of these areas, and we’re currently seeking someone stellar to take the reins.  The ideal professional for the role is a flexible problem solver with superb communication skills and a detail-oriented mindset.  They should have prior experience thriving in an administrative capacity in an office environment.  Multitasking and the unique ability to deftly handle the unexpected are essential qualities to bring to the position.  This role will report through Human Resources and will have a broad impact on the employee experience as it relates to being in the office and orchestrating streamlined office moves, space planning, and employee seating.

We are excited to bring on board a talented individual who is eager to dive in and take ownership of this role to shape how the office functions and the experience of working in VIZIO’s Dallas Office.

What You Will Do:

Support the Dallas site and coordinate with other office managers to maintain cohesiveness in an efficient, productive, and positively cultured office and employee experience.

Support the HR function by assisting with employee onboarding (including I9 documentation), answer employee questions, and maintain personnel records utilizing our HRIS system, Workday.

Support events, meetings, and conferences by coordinating facilities and amenities.

Plan and execute two major company events; summer and vacation events; and other employee engagement activities throughout the year.

Maintain a budget for office needs and employee engagement.

Oversee the delivery of supplies, including food services, multiple times per month.

Work with the Sr. Facilities Specialist to ensure office efficiency is maintained by planning and executing equipment procurement, layouts, and office systems.

Maintain a safe and secure working environment and be the point of contact for compliance or health and safety needs.

Partner with HR, Legal, and Compliance teams to maintain and oversee adherence to VIZIO office policies and procedures.

Ensure security, integrity, and confidentiality of data.

Provide general administrative support to leaders for ad hoc projects.

Responsible for developing and implementing office policies by setting up procedures and standards to guide the office's operation.

Act as a liaison between the company, staff, and office building management, providing information, answering questions, and responding to requests.

About You:

A completed high school diploma or GED 

3+ years of proven office management, administrative or assistant experience

Knowledge of office management responsibilities, systems, and procedures

Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work

Attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Proficient in MS Office and general computer skills

Knowledge of Human Resources management practices and procedures

Bonus: Workday experience
