General Overview:

We are building a passionate team to operate and serve the guests of Nuri Steakhouse, a new Dallas-based steakhouse with Asian influences. We are committed to our mission of inspiring people to embrace different cultures of the world where the East meets the West.

We are seeking an exceptional Front of House Manager to join our team. The perfect candidate should be passionate, enthusiastic, energized, and have a curiosity for learning new things. The FOH Manager assists the General Manager in handling all aspects of the restaurant operation to maintain and develop a high level of guest experience.

We will provide you with the training you need to be successful. We take great pride in our quality food and friendly, impeccable service. Essential Functions:

Provide leadership and direction in the development, execution, and measurement of guest service standards, consistent with the company's core service and brand standards.

Create a work environment that promotes teamwork, performance feedback, recognition, mutual respect, and employee satisfaction; ensure quality hiring, training, and succession planning processes encompass the company’s diversity commitment.

Support the General Manager in monitoring fiscal budgets, division operations, and marketing strategies to produce both short-term and long-term profitability.

Ensure accountability processes are followed; ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.

Establish positive guest relations with all guests of the restaurant. Maintain a rapport with guests; comply with all requests and meet guest expectations to build a positive reputation and return business.

Respond to unusual events or circumstances requiring high-level management attention and inform the GM, VP, and Director of Culinary of situations requiring his/her attention.

Perform other restaurant side duties as requested by management and leadership team.

Follow and execute the service standards as outlined in training.

Education and Experience Requirements:

2+ years of previous restaurant management experience is required.

21 years of age or older.

Strong integrity and honesty.

Proficiency with Restaurant POS Systems, Excel, Word, Email, social media, and phone systems.

Must have the stamina to work an average of 55 hours per week.

Ability to train, lead, manage, and inspire the service team.

Manage all details of running the front of the house and guest relations.

Strong business sense, a head for numbers and accounting.

Cash handling, shift supervision, and scheduling.

Ordering/inventory experience.

Excellent food & wine knowledge with an Asian & local emphasis (is a plus).

Passion, energy, common sense, work ethic, enthusiasm, and kindness.

Maintain composure in stressful environments while being highly self-motivated and detail-oriented.

Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Must possess a current Texas SERV Safe Certification.
