SUMMARY
Arcticom LLC, a subsidiary of Bering Straits Native Corporation is currently seeking an experienced Senior Data Analyst at Joint Base Andrews, MD. We are looking for an SFIS/SLOA Operations Specialist to ensure SFIS and SLOA compliance. Key duties include assessing compliance, verifying system adherence, improving processes, managing data projects, and updating the SFIS Compliance Dashboard. The role also involves supporting meetings, developing training, and providing detailed documentation and status updates.
Responsibilities:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The Essential Duties and Responsibilities are intended to present a descriptive list of the range of duties performed for this position, and are not intended to reflect all duties performed within the job. Other duties may be assigned.
Conducting assessments to ensure SFIS compliance, updating improvement plans, and providing business process change requirements.
Verifying SFIS compliance by checking systems against SFIS business rules and reporting compliance violations.
Identifying and implementing process improvements to streamline compliance reviews.
Analyzing system information exchanges to determine SFIS compliance requirements and creating project plans for reviews.
Prioritizing systems for SFIS compliance, documenting system interfaces, and managing data management projects related to SFIS and SLOA.
Sharing findings with Architecture Teams to assist in reducing IT spend and providing recommendations.
Attending and supporting SFIS Data Management meetings, developing SFIS training courses, and creating presentations on compliance work.
Updating and improving the Defense Business System SFIS Compliance Dashboard, documenting processes, and providing regular status updates.
Taking detailed meeting notes, ensuring follow-up on recommendations, and supporting SFIS mapping efforts.

DC Metro Area able to go into client site (Andrews AFB) 3 x week
Must have experience with Standard Financial Information Structure (SFIS)
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Excellent problem-solving, communication, organization, analytical and interpersonal skills
Must be able to work and collaborate in group environments
Thorough understanding of Data Management methodologies and tools
High initiative, self-motivation and drive to exceed expectations
