Summary:

This is a remote position, offering flexibility and autonomy. We're seeking a highly motivated, self-driven individual with excellent communication skills, particularly on the phone. You'll work closely with the Director of Enterprise Sales to drive growth through strategic initiatives, with a primary focus on lead generation. The ideal candidate is coachable, adaptable, eager to learn, possesses strong phone skills for cold calling and customer relationship management, and is willing to travel while maintaining productivity. Excellent time management skills and a desire to stay ahead of marketing trends and industry updates are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities:

Position Responsibilities:

Lead Generation: Take ownership of lead generation efforts, proactively identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.

Collaborate with the business development team to identify, assess, and prospect new customers and contacts.

Maintain a healthy sales pipeline, nurturing potential customers throughout the sales cycle.

Support the business development and pricing team in completing RFI, RFP, and company data requests.

Manage CRM data for Business Development, including accounts, contacts, opportunities, and reporting.

Assist in training and onboarding new Business Development Directors.

Stay informed about industry trends and target markets, demonstrating marketing knowledge and a desire to keep up with changes.

Collaborate with other departments to achieve goals and align priorities.

Participate in weekly team meetings and ongoing training to stay current with sales techniques.

Maintain a positive and professional attitude and treat all individuals with respect.

Willingness to travel as needed and ability to balance prospecting activities while on the road.

Excellent time management skills and ability to work independently in a remote setting.

Self-driven with a strong desire to learn and stay ahead of industry trends.

Strong understanding of commercial data and solutions.

Excellent consultative selling and communication skills (both verbal and written) and powerful phone skills.

Experience in pipeline and data management, scorecard development, RFI/RFP management, and lead generation.

Comfortable making cold calls and prospecting for new customers.

Education and Experience

A 4-year degree in a relevant field (business, logistics, transportation, etc.) or equivalent work experience is preferred but not required.

Experience in the transportation industry is highly desired, demonstrating a familiarity with its unique challenges and opportunities

You'll need to build strong relationships with various individuals, including drivers, adjusters, claimants, and management. Excellent interpersonal skills are a must.

Clear and effective communication, both written and verbal, is essential for success in this role. You'll be interacting with people from all levels of the organization and external stakeholders.

The ability to analyze complex information, identify key issues, and develop effective solutions is critical.

You'll need to be a confident decision-maker who can think on their feet and solve problems proactively.

Insurance/Legal Background: While not required, prior experience in insurance claims, legal, or law enforcement can be a significant asset.

Accuracy and attention to detail are crucial in this role, as even small errors can have significant consequences.

Physical Requirements
