The Senior IT Project Manager is a seasoned professional responsible for leading and managing complex, high-impact IT projects, including Merger & Acquisitions, DeNovo, Conversions, Network & Infrastructure, Information Security, Systems Implementations and/or Integrations, and Software Development. This role requires advanced leadership capabilities, expertise in project planning and scheduling, and proficiency in project management tools to ensure successful project delivery in a rapidly changing environment.
Essential Functions:
Strategic Project Planning and Scheduling: Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocation for complex IT projects, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
Advanced Project Management: Lead and oversee complex IT projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and delivering results that drive business value.
Stakeholder Management: Engage with senior leadership and key stakeholders to ensure project alignment, clear communication, and stakeholder satisfaction.
Leadership and Mentorship: Provide leadership and mentorship to project teams, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Risk and Issue Management: Proactively identify and manage risks and issues, implementing effective mitigation strategies to maintain project momentum.
Technical Leadership: Utilize deep technical knowledge to guide project teams, ensuring the application of best practices in IT infrastructure, software development, and information security.
Proficiency in Tools: Leverage project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, FreshService, or Asana to effectively manage project schedules, tasks, and deliverables.
Documentation and Reporting: Ensure comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, risk logs, and stakeholder updates.
Continuous Improvement: Drive the adoption of best practices in IT project management and contribute to the development of new methodologies and processes.

Required Credentials:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred.
8+ years of experience managing complex IT projects, with a proven record of leading large-scale initiatives to successful completion.
Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification required. Additional certifications in Agile, ITIL, or relevant areas are preferred.
