Job Overview:
We have an opportunity for a Part-time Physical Therapist to join our Motion Analysis Center.
Responsibilities:
This position provides evaluation and therapy services, including direct patient care, patient/family education and transition of care, in an efficient, age-appropriate, and culturally sensitive manner upon licensed independent practitioner referral.
Implements a systematic patient examination and evaluation utilizing a comprehensive, patient and family-centered approach to decision making.
Incorporates the International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health (ICF) model and the AMA CPT codes.
Designs and implements a comprehensive treatment plan, utilizing evidence based practice, for patients of diverse ages and diagnoses based on their assessment.
Provides accurate and thorough documentation, which follows the state requirements, payer specific requirements, regulatory and professional standards to include correct use of AMA CPT Codes.
Records clinical activity as close as possible to the time care was delivered.
Completes necessary paperwork for scheduling, adaptive equipment, and patient care statistics.
Participates in program development and departmental responsibilities as assigned while demonstrating adherence to deadlines.
Reviews federal, state, and payer regulations as well as State Practice Act to ensure current knowledge and application of regulatory standards.

Qualifications:
Required:
Bachelors Degree in PT
Licensed in SC
BLS
Preferred:
1 year PT experience
