At Parkside Utility, as an Assistant Project Manager, you’ll partner with internal divisions in the preparation, execution, and completion of projects and participates in the day-to-day activities of Parkside's Project Management function.  This is under the direction of the Operations Management Team.

What you’ll do as an Assistant Project Manager:

Assist senior project management leadership members with the day-to-day supervision, oversight and execution of plans supporting Fiber Telecommunication construction.

Track department progress in achieving goals, proactively report on progress, and adjust associated strategies and processes, as appropriate.

Provide feedback to cross-functional teams and fosters interactions with other departments to ensure the successful execution of all project management activities.

Ensure that the organization's Project Management activities are conducted accurately, ethically, consistently and according to relevant regulations, laws, and standards.

Read and analyze engineering drawings to create accurate bill of materials

Train new team members on billing processes and procedures

Complete data entry tasks across multiple platforms

‎ :

What you’ll need 

To be 18 years of age or older

Authorization to work in the United States for this company

Typically requires progressive experience in Project Management

A bachelor’s degree in business, science or a related field

Understanding of Fiber Telecommunications Construction

Seasoned change management skills

Expert interpersonal, communication and data management skill

Additional qualifications (if applicable) 

 PMP Certification is a plus

Physical abilities & exposures

Routinely:  use keyboard and mouse

Salary Range $70,000 - $90,000 / year
