Responsibilities:
Essential functions
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions.
Receive lists, reports, requests for payments and/or a variety of other source documents containing various forms of information, and organize such documents in a manner conducive to entry into the appropriate customer data base.
Confirm form of payments on all services that are input
Maintain accurate recordkeeping needs of all services provided
Ensure appropriate fees are attached to services as per the municipal or government agreements in place
Apply and maintain permits active within the service areas as necessary
Compose and maintain detailed reports as required by customer needs for recycling initiatives
Review and correct activity codes on new and existing customer orders
Update customer contact or billing information when necessary
Competencies
Detail oriented
Strong communication skills
Basic software knowledge
Strong typing skills
Organized
Able to work independently or on a team
Accuracy in handling database
Comfortable working in fast paced environment
Supervisory responsibilities
N/A
Work environment and hours
Office setting
Five days a week
Thirty-minute unpaid meal breaks
Physical demands

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or Equivalent
One year experience in a data entry related position
