Assistant Director of Finance – CoralTree Residence Collection Vail

Are you ready to help shape the future of travel and hospitality? CoralTree Residence Collection Vail is seeking an exceptional Assistant Director of Finance to join our dynamic team. The Assistant Director of Finance will oversee the financial operations for all properties in Vail and provide leadership support to three members of the finance team. 

Responsibilities:

· Spearhead the creation and oversight of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and strategic insight.

· Preparation of monthly financial statements to guide the financial trajectory of the company. Includes general ledger journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.

· Actively engage with department heads to delve into financial statements and forecasts, fostering a culture of financial awareness and responsibility.

· Oversee and authorize all banking transactions and company disbursements, ensuring fiscal responsibility and organizational integrity.

· Craft comprehensive reports that not only summarize but also forecast the company's business activities, financial standing, and potential in terms of income and expenses, drawing from historical data and future projections.

· Play a pivotal role alongside the Director of Finance in budget preparation and presentation, blending analytical acumen with strategic vision.

· Be an integral part of strategic planning and management meetings, bringing financial expertise to the table.

· Supervise the Accounts Receivable and Payable processes with the support of the accounting team, streamlining operations for efficiency and accuracy.

· Cultivate a dynamic team environment focused on teamwork, personal and professional growth, and autonomy.

· Collaborate with People Services to build and maintain a high-performing finance team, including conducting regular reviews and leading recruitment efforts when necessary.

Salary range: $85,000 - $99,000/yr.
