Responsibilities:
The Behavioral Health Associate provides direct patient care and supportive services to patients with mental health disorders as well as chemically dependent patients to ensure the safety and well being of patients. Carries out a variety of patient care activities which support the maintenance of the therapeutic milieu and which meet the patient's needs for comfort and safety. In addition to the listed duties and responsibilities, is deemed competent to perform the duties and responsibilities listed in the Emergency Department Technician I (JCC 914) job description.
Qualifications:
Required
Bachelors Degree from an accredited college or university in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or other behavioral health related fields.
One (1) year of experience in the behavioral health fieldPreferred:
Direct patient care experience preferably in a hospital or inpatient mental health facility.
Work Hours::
7p-7a
Weekend Requirements::
