Overview:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Sales Manager to join our team!
The incumbent is responsible for planning, implementation and leadership of all sales & marketing initiatives related to the utilities’ Industrial, Commercial and Residential markets, including the development and execution of Marketing and Strategic Plans and the administration of related budgets. The position requires the creation and leadership of cross-functional teams within and outside Sales & Marketing to enhance load growth, remove roadblocks and support a value-added sales process. The Manager of Sales leads a Sales Team consisting of three Sales Consultants, a Project Coordinator, a Market Development Coordinator and two Key Account Coordinators.
Understand complex business issues associated with the utility management needs of large, local/regional, Fortune 500 companies, school systems and government complexes. Understand complex commercial and industrial processes and have sufficient business acumen to sell executives on the merits of natural gas, steam, chilled water resources and complex energy management contracts as well as associated energy products and services.

Minimum Salary: $102,800 (Grade 12)
Responsibilities:
Coaching/Training, motivating and mentoring the Sales Team including regular business reviews, sales meetings, and training sessions.
Creation & leadership of cross-functional teams within and outside the department. Manage the execution of sales support and lead generation activities. Keep director and executive level management informed of major initiatives and progress toward completion of key objectives.
Customer/prospect/business partner contact including entertainment, customer meetings, sales calls, association activity and response to support requests.
Development and execution of market plans, marketing campaign/project development, research needs development, budget development and management, load forecasting, sales goal development and monthly sales reporting.
Complete administrative/Trust support tasks.
Training and education.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Engineering or related fields required.
Five years of experience in successfully leading a business to business sales team.
Preferred Skills/Qualifications
Masters Degree in Marketing or Business Administration preferred but not required.
Two years business management experience with P&L responsibility preferred.
Demonstrated experience in complex selling processes.
