We’re currently in search of an independent thinking, quick-thinking, outgoing and productive Purchasing Manager to join our team at 1 Hotel South Beach. The person in this role will manage receiving for our complex for the pre opening phase and then to a functioning Hotel.
Oversee the management of inventory levels across all properties to ensure optimal stock availability without overstocking.
Implement effective inventory control systems to track and manage stock movement at each location.
Coordinate with other departments to forecast demand and plan procurement activities accordingly.
Qualifications:
About you...Passionate about leading a team who works cross-functionally
Basic knowledgeable of purchasing and receiving, a team player, hard worker, and detail oriented.
Is flexible and willing to meet the demands of a 24-hour operation
Experience with Birchstreet.
5 years Resort/Restaurant experience.
Experience with computers, calculators or word processors.
Experience in Hospitality Industry in similar position.
Endure various physical movements throughout the work areas.
Reach 12 inches.
Remain in stationary position for 30 minutes throughout work shift.
Satisfactorily communicate with guests, management and co-workers to their understanding.
